Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

Redeeming a coupon is as easy as writing your name. When you get to the checkout screen, once you entered your credit card information, there is a Coupon Code field. There you have to write the name of the coupon you got. Below, you can see a picture of that area of the screen.

Coupon Field

On the picture below, you can see a regular order for a Kabbalah Bracelet which price is $18.99.

Total without coupon

The picture below is showing how and where you need to enter the coupon code (or name) to get the announced discount. For the example we use coupon code ‘SAVE10′.

Coupon Filled

Finally, on this picture you see how much money you saved by using the coupon and also the total that included the discount. On this example we use a customer with shipping address in Florida who was charged with sales tax. If your shipping address is not in Florida, your sales tax will be 0 (zero)

Weekly Kabbalah Tune Up: June 22 - 28, 2008

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

Is there someone in your life you are really trying to help? You know exactly what they need to do, they may even be open to listening to you, and yet after countless hours of explaining and pleading with them, they’re still not changing?
Or at least not as fast as you’d like them to?

How frustrating is that?

The Rav says the only way to help someone change is to “give them breathing space and listen to them.”

We are not here to teach people the truth. We are here to turn enough Light bulbs on in their heads so they can see their own truth.

When the Rav says “listen to them”, he is telling us to erase ourselves and to be one with people. We are all messengers for one another, and there is a reason why we see the solution to a person’s problem. We have been chosen to be there. But it’s not our solution. We are just an instrument for delivery.

People need to internalize things in their own time. Just because we “get it” doesn’t mean they are going to get it. Giving people breathing space has been one of the secrets of my parents’ success. That’s why we say, “there is no coercion in spirituality.” Everyone has their own process, and it’s not up to us to impose our timetable on their change.

The best way to transmit our message is with patience, compassion, understanding, love and old-fashioned listening skills.

Most of us are weak active listeners. Usually when someone is talking, we are already planning our comeback. And how many times do we start our response with, “Yeah, but” - which only negates everything they just told us.

Without feeling where a person is at - and asking the Light to help us communicate from our heart (not our head) - we will only push them further down the hole.

This is a great lesson for all of us this week. We want to remember that we can’t crack people open just by telling them the cold, hard truth. Instead, we want to feel what the person is going through, and ask the Creator to help us to be a pure channel through which our message can flow.

When we strive for this, the words won’t matter. It’s the heart that matters the most.

How do I measure my wrist size?

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

To measure your wrist size, find a piece of string, wrap it around your wrist and measure it with a ruler. Give yourself some extra room according to your comfort level by selecting a slightly larger size closest to your reading. As a guide, you may add 0.25 to 0.5 Inch, depending on how loose you like it.

Generally,  children’s wrists are 5.0 inches, women 7.0 or 7.5 inches and men are 8.0 inches.

Symbolism of the color red in antiquity

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

Red is supposedly the first color perceived by Man. Brain-injured persons suffering from temporary color-blindness start to perceive red before they are able to discern any other colors. Neolithic hunter peoples considered red to be the most important color endowed with life-giving powers and thus placed red ochre into graves of their deceased. This explains funds of skeletons …

Sterling Silver Hamsa Necklace - Fatima Hand - Fatimas Hand

Also known as the Hand of Fatima and Hand of Miriam, the hamsa hand is an old and popular amulet for magical protection from the evil eye. The downward pointed hamsa refers to an ancient Middle Eastern goddess whose hand wards off the evil eye.

We care…

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

As an online business, our success is dependant not only on the quality of our products but also the happiness of our clients. When we receive an order for fashion evil eye bracelets and kabbalah bracelets from a customer, we jump through hoops to fulfill the order in a timely manner and ship it priority mail through USPS. We are always striving to exceed the expectations of our customer.

So it really irks me when USPS loses an order while “making every effort to expeditiously handle, without damage, each piece of mail with which entrusted.” I wish they would take as much care with my package as they do applying the giant sticker to my now empty envelope that proudly proclaims “We appreciate your concern and sincerely regret any inconvenience you have experienced.”

Yes, I’ve been inconvenienced, but what about the inconvenience that my customer has experienced? Simple really. I get a letter from my merchant account advising me of the chargeback due to my customer being unhappy. So while my customer is protected in these situations, how can my online business be protected from instances such as this?

And even more importantly, who found that missing order at USPS? Are they enjoying my clients silver evil eye bracelet? Do they appreciate the quality of the workmanship? Hopefully they kept the business cards that I enclose with each order and will keep me in mind for future purchases!

How do colors affect our moods?

Velvet Evil Eye Wrap Bracelets

Color, without our realizing it, can have a profound effect on how we feel both mentally and physically. Dr. Morton Walker, in his book The Power of Color, suggested that the ancient Egyptians as well as the Native American Indians used color and colored light to heal. Below are some emotional associations that humans tend to have with certain colors. These are important to keep in mind in order to create the mood you are seeking.

Blue represents peace, tranquility, calm, stability, harmony, unity, trust, truth, confidence, continue reading from here
