Online Payment Diagram
Thursday, December 25th, 2008
Step 1: The merchant submits a credit card transaction to the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway on behalf of a customer via secure connection from a Web site, at retail, from a MOTO center or a wireless device.

Step 2: Authorize.Net receives the secure transaction information and passes it via a secure connection to the Merchant Bank’s Processor.

Step 3: The Merchant Bank’s Processor submits the transaction to the Credit Card Interchange (a network of financial entities that communicate to manage the processing, clearing, and settlement of credit card transactions).

Step 4: The Credit Card Interchange routes the transaction to the customer’s Credit Card Issuer.

Step 5: The Credit Card Issuer approves or declines the transaction based on the customer’s available funds and passes the transaction results, and if approved, the appropriate funds, back through the Credit Card Interchange.

Step 6: The Credit Card Interchange relays the transaction results to the Merchant Bank’s Processor.

Step 7: The Merchant Bank’s Processor relays the transaction results to Authorize.Net.

Step 8: Authorize.Net stores the transaction results and sends them to the customer and/or the merchant. This communication process averages three seconds or less!

Step 9: The Credit Card Interchange passes the appropriate funds for the transaction to the Merchant’s Bank, which then deposits funds into the merchant’s bank account. The funds are typically deposited into your primary bank account within two to four business days.

Redeeming Promotions and Discount Codes
Tuesday, October 14th, 2008Redeeming a coupon is as easy as writing your name. When you get to the checkout screen, once you entered your credit card information, there is a Coupon Code field. There you have to write the name of the coupon you got. Below, you can see a picture of that area of the screen.

On the picture below, you can see a regular order for a Kabbalah Bracelet which price is $18.99.

The picture below is showing how and where you need to enter the coupon code (or name) to get the announced discount. For the example we use coupon code ‘SAVE10′.

Finally, on this picture you see how much money you saved by using the coupon and also the total that included the discount. On this example we use a customer with shipping address in Florida who was charged with sales tax. If your shipping address is not in Florida, your sales tax will be 0 (zero)

Weekly Kabbalah Tune Up: June 22 - 28, 2008
Wednesday, June 25th, 2008Is there someone in your life you are really trying to help? You know exactly what they need to do, they may even be open to listening to you, and yet after countless hours of explaining and pleading with them, they’re still not changing?
Or at least not as fast as you’d like them to?
How frustrating is that?
The Rav says the only way to help someone change is to “give them breathing space and listen to them.”
We are not here to teach people the truth. We are here to turn enough Light bulbs on in their heads so they can see their own truth.
When the Rav says “listen to them”, he is telling us to erase ourselves and to be one with people. We are all messengers for one another, and there is a reason why we see the solution to a person’s problem. We have been chosen to be there. But it’s not our solution. We are just an instrument for delivery.
People need to internalize things in their own time. Just because we “get it” doesn’t mean they are going to get it. Giving people breathing space has been one of the secrets of my parents’ success. That’s why we say, “there is no coercion in spirituality.” Everyone has their own process, and it’s not up to us to impose our timetable on their change.
The best way to transmit our message is with patience, compassion, understanding, love and old-fashioned listening skills.
Most of us are weak active listeners. Usually when someone is talking, we are already planning our comeback. And how many times do we start our response with, “Yeah, but” - which only negates everything they just told us.
Without feeling where a person is at - and asking the Light to help us communicate from our heart (not our head) - we will only push them further down the hole.
This is a great lesson for all of us this week. We want to remember that we can’t crack people open just by telling them the cold, hard truth. Instead, we want to feel what the person is going through, and ask the Creator to help us to be a pure channel through which our message can flow.
When we strive for this, the words won’t matter. It’s the heart that matters the most.

How do I measure my wrist size?
Wednesday, June 18th, 2008To measure your wrist size, find a piece of string, wrap it around your wrist and measure it with a ruler. Give yourself some extra room according to your comfort level by selecting a slightly larger size closest to your reading. As a guide, you may add 0.25 to 0.5 Inch, depending on how loose you like it.
Generally, children’s wrists are 5.0 inches, women 7.0 or 7.5 inches and men are 8.0 inches.
